The Cake Lady is a Black-owned, home-based bakery located conveniently near major interstates in Richmond, Virginia. We would love to schedule time with you to discuss the details of your next order. Click here to access our order form.

 We do not take custom orders or provide quotes over the phone. To order, use the custom order form here.

Cakes are available by pre-order only and must be ordered and paid for at least 2 weeks in advance unless otherwise stated. Please note, schedule fills quickly (particularly on weekends) and even with a 2 week notice we may not be able to accommodate all orders. We recommend ordering with as much advanced notice as possible. 

Occasionally, we are able to accommodate last-minute orders, but flavor and size options will be limited. Please call or text 804-404-5277 to inquire if you need an order within 2 weeks or less. Rush order fees will apply.

Please note that custom cake quotes start at $120.

Prices are subject to change to account for production costs.

50% of your total is required as a deposit in order to confirm your order and hold your slot. Your deposit is non-refundable, as it goes towards buying supplies to create your order. The balance is due 72 hours before pick up. Failure to pay your remaining balance before the due date may result in cancellation of your order and forfeiture of any payments made. 

You may pay your deposits and balances directly through the Square link provided on your invoice, Zelle, or Cash App. We do offer payment plans for larger orders placed in advance. 

Cancellations of any sort made by the customer will result in a forfeiture of any payment made. Cancellations made by The Cake Lady will result in a deposit refund. 

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that I can evaluate the issue and rectify it.

Delivery base fee is $40+ depending on mileage, time of day, flights or stairs, etc. This will be added to your total.

Pick up location is in Richmond, VA near Starbucks (6548 Hull Street, Richmond, VA 23225).
